Introduction

Just a nice, easy dinner to come home to. Just a nice, easy dinner to come home to.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb Pork chops
    1 medium yellow onion, sliced
6 medium potatoes, scrubbed and sliced
    6 carrots, peeled and sliced
1 beef buillion cube (or 1 can beef broth)
1 can fat-free cream of mushroom soup
    1 1/2 cups water

Directions

Place pork chops in bottom of crock pot (I use frozen, can be thawed). Place sliced onions on top, then sliced potatoes, sliced carrots on top. Boil water, then dissolve buillion. Mix broth with soup until blended. Pour over top of ingredients in crock pot. Cook on low 4-6 hours. If you like more 'gravy', double soup and buillion mixture.

My honey had a hard time telling me his rating cuz his mouth was too full! LoL! Did 4 cans (2 cream of mushroom & 2 cream of celery) of soup. Added celery instead of carrots & pork chops were frozen when I put then in. Cooked on low for 12 hours. Chops & pots were done & juicy. - 6/23/11

I will be making this tomorrow, looks great! BUT, that fat content is way too high to be accurate. I've recalculated it with what I'll be using at http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-deta

I love these kind of recipes where you come back in a few hours and it's done. I definitely will have to try this one out. The 418 calories is a little scary, but it has a lot of fiber too, so that's a good thing. - 9/12/08
