Introduction

Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    Cream together: 1/2 c butter
    3/4 c sugar

    Beat in: 3 eggs

    Add: 4 oz can chopped mild jalapenos
    1 can creamed corn
    1/2 c grated cheese

    Add: 1 c flour
    1 c cornmeal
    4 tsp baking powder
    dash of salt

Directions

pour into greased 9x13 pan.
Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour!

    This is the best corn bread I have ever had! I followed the recipe exactly, but let the entire mixture sit at room temp. for about an hour- it turned out amazing- very moist! Thanks for the recipe! - 10/23/12

    Love it! I cheated and used a box of Jiffy mix and just added the cheese, creamed corn and jalapenos. Turned out very moist and yummy. I used regular nacho jalapenos and that gave it a bit of a kick! Can't wait to make it again with chili or stew. - 9/25/11

    I made this for a get together. I used hot jalapenos instead of mild, since most of this group likes spice. I received many compliments and one person asked if she could take some home. I will definitely make this again! - 9/15/14

    Brilliant. wld be even better had I read recipe properly, MILD jalapenos!! Being lazy, I liquidised eggs, jalapenos and ordinary tinned sweetcorn and added this to the dry ingredients. Used olive oil instead of butter. Main problem, I can't eat less than a double helping!!! - 6/16/14
