I loved this! I did not have a shallot, but it was great wthout it. I love green beans, OH and I actually used frozen green beans and it was still great...very simple! - 3/8/10

    Incredible!
Very light and yummy! Served as one of my veggies for Easter dinner when I was looking for something besides the Green Bean Casserole. Much healthier. Will be adding additional shallots next time (used 2 this time) for more flavor. - 4/26/11

I used white wine and had no schalloten and added crushed almonds...in theory, they should have been delicious, but I found they tasted bland. I think the beans might have been too old...although, my hubby ate them all! - 5/28/10

I did not have chicken broth, so I used a little marsala wine. These were delicious! Will be making them again soon. - 1/15/10
