Introduction

This is a very moist banana bread. My kids love when I make these while they are at school. The house smells so good when they rush in the door! We usually make them into muffins. The nutrition is calculated for 18 muffins rather than loaf of banana bread. This is a very moist banana bread. My kids love when I make these while they are at school. Am I missing something? The directions say mix flour, but there isn't any flour measurement listed in the ingredients. Please advise as I would love to try this recipe. I plan to use applesauce and agave neater. - 9/30/12

Used honey in leiu of sugar- increased the calories per serving by about 20, but I am going to play around with this recipe in the future. Super delicious- vastly better served warm! - 2/24/12

Blended some culinary lavender in with the sugar and added a bit of grated lemon peel. This is a great recipe. My old standby always seemed so dry. Now I have a new favorite! - 7/24/10

Can this recipe be resubmitted without the funny characters? I am not sure of the quantities for salt and flour. I think it is an html problem. Thank you. - 11/21/09

Made bread and muffins - this recipe was so easy and didn't require a ton of ingredients. Both the bread and the muffins turned out moist and were a hit with family. I think in the future I would add a couple more spices but leave everything else as is. Thanks so much for sharing - 3/26/09
