Try Soy Slender chocolate Soy Milk, it only has 70 calories in a cup, the Light Soy milks have too much sugar and fat otherwise. - 2/22/09

This is a great treat! It makes a nice size serving, so it's a great 'cheat'! I think would be best with bananas on the almost over-ripe side. Mine were just yellow, so still a little bitter. But still good! Definitely will make again! - 1/26/09

This is great! A way to add more potassium without eating another banana . I eat at least 3 per day and I still fall below my nutritional requirement.

I've never tried soy milk and I'm adding it to my grocery list for the weekend so I can try this.

Because I am a cancer survivor I try to stay away from soy. I will try this with Chocolate almond milk if I can find it and reduced if I can find that. Otherwise I will try adding cocoa powder to the blend and see if it tastes as good as the almond vanilla which I usually buy. - 10/3/13

Gotta try this on my kids... all three are lactose intolerant and love soy milk (especially chocolate). For them I can use the recipe as is. For me I probably will switch to low fat (need to lose weight + no gall bladder). - 8/30/12

This sounds totally wonderful! Oh how I do miss bananas... in my recent years just developed alergic reactions to uncooked bananas. Sometimes I play Russian Roulette hoping reaction won't be too bad. Naughty to be sure! - 10/3/08

This sounds wonderful; I LOVE choco soy Silk! Sometimes I "cut" it with unsweetened soy, so it's not too sweet. Can't wait to try it! Thanks! - 10/3/08

I've heard that when you freeze a banana for use in a protein drink that it doesn't something good to it. - 10/3/08

This is great! I used 1/2 cup low fat almond chocolate milk and 1/2 banana. I also freeze bananas before they overripen. I slice them in thick slices, coat them with lemon juice before freezing. They are all ready to pop in a shake in any amount you like. I added 1 tsp cocoa powder for extra flavor - 10/3/08

If you want to make something similar with non-chocolate milk (which often has added sugar), just add about 1/2 to 1 tbsp of cocoa powder to milk and banana. The banana provides enough sweetness to make it taste really yummy! - 10/3/08
