I loved this! So easy to make - which is basically essential for me as I have no cooking skills! Also, as a college student, one pot recipes are much needed! - 4/17/09

I made this last night. I used 97% fat free ground white turkey breast, half creamed corn and half niblets. I also added black beans, and topped it off with light sour cream. It was great. - 2/20/09

This turned out way better than expected. I used garlic salt instead of garlic powder & salt seperately and added extra onion/chili powder, it turned out GREAT. I'll definitely make again! - 1/24/10

I am going to give this a try but will substitue the Beef with Lean Ground Turkey. That should cut the fat and cals. down considerably. Thanks for the receipe. - 4/7/09

This is SO easy and we always have these ingredients on hand. I also added black beans and topped with a little reduced-fat feta cheese...yummy! You can add stuff to this recipe however you wish and it will still be great I think! - 10/17/08

My two big boys came home from work and quickly demolished two recipes worth of this dish, they kept commenting between swallows how delicious it was (something they rarely do) I'm so glad to have found another easy but great tasting recipe to add to my collection. - 2/22/13

Really good! I added half a teaspoon of cumin to it, it kind of reminded me of zatarain's dirty rice. - 1/31/12

i needed a quick ground beef recipe and this did the trick. as many have mentioned, this works great as a basis of many "left over" nights and can be spiced up or down as you taste dictates. - 8/15/11

Literally had ground beef, leftover rice, & corn cut from the cob. Perfect & easy recipe. Didn't have chili powder but had cayenne pepper (had never used it before). Maybe used a bit too much, but my dish had kick, & for once my meal was not boring. Added some ketchup, sour cream, & mushrooms. - 8/12/11

It was OK, it was very dry and lacked some flavor so I added double the spices. I think I would add water or chicken or beef broth to give it better flavor. - 8/9/11

Very good and easy. Only thing is I had to use two pots (one to prepare the rice and one for the actual beef and corn mixture) - 7/27/11

I took the recipe and added my own twist with a dash of worcestershire sauce and added mixed veggies from my freezer in place of the corn. I also added black beans as others suggested. I also added 1 tsp cumin. I loved it but neither of my kids would eat it. - 8/17/10

This turned out pretty good. I did add about a tablespoon of chipotle chili sauce (bought at Fairway Market) and it gave it a bit more complex flavor. But kudos for coming up with such a quick go-to meal! - 6/26/10

This does sound like a good base recipe that you could add some some veggies to. I would add some diced tomatoes with chili, black beans and sprinkle cheese on top. I would also try it with shredded chicken breast or pork loin. - 4/7/09

I will try with ground turkey and mess with the spices so the sodium isn't through the roof. - 4/7/09
