Ingredients

2Tbsp Butter, Softened
2Tbsp Canola Oil
1/2cup Brown Sugar
1tsp Vanilla extract
1/8tsp Salt
1 Egg White
3/4cup Whole Wheat Flour
1/4tsp Baking Soda
3oz. Chocolate Chips
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375degrees
2. Cream together butter, oil and brown sugar. Add vanilla, salt and egg white. Mix throughly.
3. Mix together flour and baking soda. Add to wet mixture and stir in chocolate chips.
4. place in refrigerator for an hour to reharden butter (will make a better cookie)
5. Drop rounded half-teaspoons of dough into cookie sheet. Bake cookies for 4-6 minutes, then cool on a wire rack.
Makes 24 cookies
