    2 slices bread
    1/4-1/2 cup apple sauce
    cinnamon sugar(to taste)


place a small pan over medium heat. spread margarine over one side of each slice of bread. place one slice, buttered side down on heated pan. add apple sauce and top with other slice of bread, buttered side up. flip over when brown. sprinkle cinnamon sugar over both sides.

    At first, I saw this recipe and thought that it sounded really gross, but I don't knock things unless I've tried it.

    The taste was good, the combination of the toast, apple and sugar reminded me of french toast. I found the texture a bit strange, though.
