Ingredients

    2 cups All-purpose flour
    1 tsp Splenda
    1 tsp Salt
    1 tsp olive oil
    1 cup warm water
    1 tsp baking soda
12 Tbsp bruschetta (store-bought is fine)
    1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

additional olive oil or imitation butter spray

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and olive oil. In a smaller bowl, combine 1 cup warm water with 1 tsp baking powder and let baking powder completely fizzle. Add water mixture to dry ingredients and knead together to completely combined. Add additional flour as necessary is dough is too sticky. Let sit until cool (About 30 mins).

Roll out dough and place on baking sheet, rolling up the edges to form a "crust." Drizzle with a small amount of olive oil or spray lightly with imitation oil spray. Place in oven until golden (about 15-20 minutes).

Pull dough out of the oven and top with bruschetta. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top. Cut into 8 slices, serve and enjoy!

I am confused how to use the Bruschetta this way, do you make "bread crumbs" out of it or do you just use the oil, garlic, cheese and red pepper and parsley on top of the pizza dough? - 2/3/13
