    2/3 cup water
    2/3 cup cooked rice, white or brown
    1 tbs butter or margarine
    .333 tsp salt
    .333 tsp sugar
    2 cups bread flour
    1.5 tsp dry yeast


Combine all ingredients in pan of bread machine, following manufacturer's directions. Select 1.5 lb (medium) loaf, medium crust.

May be baked on the timed cycle.

  • This looks so good! I can't wait to make this on my new bread machine... I like the fact that you get 2 types of grains in this recipe - especially if you can use unbleached bread flour! - 5/1/08
