Ingredients

    3 Chicken breasts (cooked; sliced or cubed; use schnitzel seasoning)
    1 cup slivered almonds
    4 TBSP sesame seeds
    1 large head cabbage (shredded. I prefer the red cabbage)
    2 bunches green onions, snipped
    2 pkgs. Ramen-Pride Chicken flavored (uncooked & crumbled; save seasonings for dressing)

    Directions:

    Toast sesame seeds & almond slivers in oven til brown (10-15 minutes @ 350 degrees). Cool. Toss
    chicken, seeds, almonds, cabbage & green onions.

    SALAD DRESSING

    Ingredients:

    4 TBSP sugar
    1 cup vegetable oil
    6 TBSP rice vinegar (I've used Balsamic)
    1 tsp pepper
    1 TBSP sesame oil
    2 pkgs seasoning from Ramen-Pride noodles

    Directions:

    Blend all above ingredients & pour over mixed salad. Stir in crumbled Ramen-Pride noodles just before serving to keep them crunchy.

    I was looking for a recipe to use up my red cabbage. This was great. The cabbage makes it crunchy, yet the flavor is not overpowering. My husband loved it! - 7/25/07
