    2 leeks
    2 carrots
    2 sticks celery
    1 tbsp butter
    1 tbsp flour
    1 chicken oxo (uk)(stock cube)
    1 cup water
    1 cup milk (2%)(semi skimmed)


chop all the veg and sweat/cook down for 5 mins to soften them.
Stir in the flour.
add water and stock cube.
Simmer until carrots are cooked.
add milk.
serve either chunky or blend with a hand blender.
