Number of Servings: 28

Ingredients

    1 1/2 c scalded milk
    1 tsp salt
    4 tbsp sugar
    3 tbsp butter
    2 extra large eggs, beaten
    4 1/2 c flour
    1 tbsp yeast

Directions

Place milk, salt, sugar and butter in pan. Heat until butter is melted. Whisk until salt and sugar are dissolved. Add eggs and whisk again until well beaten. Pour into a bread machine pan add flour and then yeast. Set machine on dough.

When dough is ready form into 28 balls. Place on lightly sprayed pans about 1 inch a part. Let dough rise until almost double in size and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes until rolls are light brown in color.

    I have made this recipe 4 times now, and the dough rises well and bread tastes good. I even baked as 2 loaves, adding cinnamon and raisins to 1....very good recipe. - 5/3/10

    Followed the recipe and ended up with biscuits not rolls. Good biscuits, but not what I was expecting. - 11/28/13
