Ingredients

    1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup Splenda Sugar Blend( or you can use regular sugar as well)
    1 egg
    1/2 cup mashed banana
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    1 cup all purpose flour
    1tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp baking soda
1 cup Hershey's Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

Directions

In a medium sized bowl, cream butter and Splenda together until it is light and fluffy. Beat in egg, banana and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda together. Gradually add to creamed mixture to form batter.

Drop by tablespoon 2 in apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 9 -11 minutes per tray or until edges are lightly browned. Move to a wire rack to cool.

This recipe made 24 for me, but the original recipe says it makes 36.

While the cookie was a little soft, it still had a good texture and flavor. I am adding this to my "things to try" book - I'm sure the kiddos will love them! - 5/14/10

    Very Good
Great recipe! They reminded me of pancakes because they are so fluffy and light! - 6/11/10

    Good
I used Splenda i/o the sugar blend and they turned out just fine, although they looked a bit undercooked. The recipe needs some spice - cinnamon or nutmeg? - because they were a bit bland, as well. - 5/29/10

This recipe was very good. The only thing I had questioned was when to put the chocolate chips in. Other than that, they were very fluffy and could barely taste the banana, so don't let that discourage you if you don't like them. - 5/22/10
