Introduction

THIS CAN BE AS SPICY AS YIOU LIKE. THE NOODLES MAKE IT SO MUCH LIGHTER THAN RICE.THIS CAME IN MY PREVENTION'S FLAT ABS BOOK. I ADDED THE EXTRA VEGGIES. YUM! THIS CAN BE AS SPICY AS YIOU LIKE. Ingredients

    Ingredients:
    GREEN BEAN THREADS (VERMICELLI)
    Flank Steak, 1 lb
    *Soy Sauce-low sodium, 2 tbsp
    Sherry, dry, 1 fl. oz
    Cornstarch, 1 TBSP
    *Peanut Oil, 1 tbsp
    Ginger Root, 2 tsp
    Shiitake Mushrooms, 1/2 cup pieces (more if you want)
    Carrots, raw, 1 slice THIN
    Scallions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Almonds, 1 cup, slivered
    *Oyster Sauce, 2 tbsp
    ASIAN GOURMET SPICY CHILI & GARLIC SAUCE, 2 tbsp Broccoli, fresh, 1.5 cup, chopped
    *Snow Peas, fresh, 1/2 cup

Directions

Serves four to five . The volume of vegetable can add a 5th serving. Seafood or chicken can be substituted for the beef.


1) Prepare the noodles per package. Drain and coarsely chop.

2) Combine steak, 1 tbsp of the low sodium soy, 1 tbsp of the sherry and the cornstarch

3) Heat 2 tsps of oil in a large wok over high heat. Add the steak and cook stirring often, 4 minutes or untill no longer pink. Transfer to plate and set aside.

4) Returne the wok/skillet to stove topand heat remaining oil over high heat. Add gingerand mushrooms and cook, stirring often, 2-3 minutes or untill mushrooms are soft. Add carrot, broccoli, snow peas, almonds to pan and cook 2 minutes. Add scallions and cook 1 minute. Add noodles and reserved steak and cook 1 minute longer or until cooked thoroughly.

5) pour oyster sauce, chili-garlic sauce and remaining soy sauce and sherry into the wok/skillet. cook 1 minute or until thickened. Serve immediately.
