Introduction

My first attempt at a low calorie version of Shepard's pie. Next time I would add maybe 1 or 2 more potatoes, but overall, I think it came out pretty good :) My first attempt at a low calorie version of Shepard's pie. Next time I would add maybe 1 or 2 more potatoes, but overall, I think it came out pretty good :)
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1.5 lbs. ground beef
    .5 cup 2% milk
    2 tsp margarine
    1 can corn
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    4 medium potatoes, peeled
    salt and pepper tt (to taste)

Directions

Makes 12 1/2 cup servings.

1. Cook beef. (season with salt and pepper)
2. Boil potatoes.
3. Preheat oven at 350.
4. Drain and mash potatoes. Add milk, margarine, salt and pepper tt.
5. In a 9x13 pan, layer beef, potatoes, corn, then cheese.
6. Bake for about 10 minutes. :)
