Introduction

Flavors reminded us of turkey sausage. The burgers were moist, flavorful and made a great sandwich. Flavors reminded us of turkey sausage. The burgers were moist, flavorful and made a great sandwich.

Ingredients

    2 lbs. ground turkey
2 pkg. dry Lipton Onion Soup Mix
    1 tsp. Low-salt Soy Sauce
    2 large eggs
    1/4 c. plain bread crumbs
    freshly ground pepper

Mix gently; mixture will be sticky. Heat your skillet to medium. You don't want a really high heat because turkey scorches and burns quickly and you want to cook through. Spray the pan with non-stick spray. Form 8 patties and gently place in the hot pan. Cook approximately 10 minutes. When you see the cooked portion starting up the sides, gently flip over. Place cheese on the tops at this point, if you are using it. Cook another 5-7 minutes, depending on the thickness.

Directions

Makes 8 nice-sized burgers. I added brick cheese to them at the end. I think the extra 20/30 calories was worth it! Everyone liked these and I am definitely making them again!
