Introduction

Ingredients

    4 Bananas
    1/3 cup Applesauce, unsweetened
    130 mL Agave Nectar
    1 Egg
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    1 tsp Baking Soda
    Pinch of Salt
    1 1/2 cup Flour
    1/3 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F. Mix applesauce and mashed bananas in large mixing bowl, add Agave, egg, and vanilla. Sprinkle in salt and baking soda and mix in. Add flour and then chips. Pour mixture into a sprayed 4x8 loaf pan. Bake for 50 mins. Cool on rack. Makes 14 good sized slices!

    A bit dense, but very tasty! You can remove the rubbery texture on the top crust by sprinkling with brown sugar, cinnamon sugar, or splenda. - 9/13/11
