Number of Servings: 1
Ingredients
-
Chopped celery, 50 grams (about 1/2 C)
Chopped iceberg lettuce, 40 grams (about 1/3 C)
1 whole tomato, chopped (small tomato)
2 oz of Kirkland's canned chicken chunks, broken up
1 T of Kraft Miracle Whip Light
Salt
Peppa
Sesame Seeds.
2 toasted pieces of Sara Lee Delightful Wheat Bread
Directions
Chop the celery, iceberg lettuce and tomato. Heat the chicken (unless you want it cold - I like it warm). Stir everything together in a small bowl with a Tablespoon of the light miracle whip. Sprinkle with salt, peppa and sesame seeds.
Serve open-face over two toasted pieces of the Sara Lee Delightful wheat bread = two sandwiches with big flavor, big filling, and small calories.
If you're having a high-cardio day and have the major-munchies, this sandwich satisfies not only physically, but mentally as well because you eat two heaping open-face sandwiches without high-calorie guilt. It's a versatile recipe. I like it with watermelon on the side and tall glass of cold water. Mmmmm.
