Introduction

Baked egg casserole with sausage, cheese, and onion. Baked egg casserole with sausage, cheese, and onion.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    12 silces bread
    1 lb. bulk sausage, cooked, drained
    3/4 lb cheese, grated
    2 T. dehydrated onion (we use 1/2 chopped onion)

    3 1/2 c. milk
    6 eggs
    1/4 t. salt
    1 t. yellow mustard

Directions

Put 6 slices of bread in bottom of 9 x 13 pan,
sprinkle on crumbled sausage, cheese and onion
top with remaining bread
mix together milk, egg, salt and mustard and pour slowly
over the casserole.
store in refrigerator overnight
bake at 325 degrees, covered 40, then uncovered 15-20 min
let stand for 10 minutes before cutting and serving
