Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1/2 cup dry pinto beans
    1/2 cup dry black beans
    2 lb ground turkey
    1 sweet onion
1/4 cup chili sauce (or use dry chili powder)
1 can tomato paste (6 oz)
    1/2 tsp cumin
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
crushed red pepper flakes (to taste)
3 shakes of res pepper sauce (or more to taste)
optional -3 beef bouillon cubes if you can have salt

Directions

Soak the dry beans in water overnight. Put beans in big pot with a little water to cover and set to simmer. Chop onion and put in frying pan with turkey to brown. When meat is no longer pink and onions are transparent, add to pot with beans. Add rest of ingredients. Add more water to cover. Allow to simmer on low until beans are soft (about 2 hours). Can simmer in crockpot or on stove.
Taste for seasoning. I like it hot so I used a lot of red pepper flakes.
