Introduction

My husband says this is the best lasagna I've ever made. My husband says this is the best lasagna I've ever made.

Ingredients

    1 lb Jennie O Extra Lean Ground Turkey
    1 box Lasagna Noodles (Whole Wheat preferred)
    1/4 c Onion Chopped
    1/4 c Green Pepper Chopped
    1/2 c Fresh Mushrooms Chopped
    1/4 c Fresh Spinach Chopped
    2 c Cottage Cheese Non Fat
    3 tbsp Parmesan Cheese
    1 c Mozzarella Cheese Part Skim Milk (divided in 2)
    1tsp Garlic Powder
    1tbsp Basil
    1tbsp Oregano


    **You can lower the sugar by using Ragu No Sugar Pasta Sauce

    I used what I had on hand.



Directions

Brown Ground Turkey, Onion, Green Pepper, Mushrooms, Basil, Oregano, Garlic Powder. on Med. Stirring frequently to avoid sticking. Do Not Drain

In a Med bowl, combine Cottage Cheese, Parmesan cheese 1/2 c Mozzarella Cheese and Spinach chopped.

In 13x9 pan place enough Ragu to just cover the bottom.
Then layer Lasagna noodles, Meat, Cheese, Ragu, Noodles, Meat Cheese, Ragu, Noodles, Ragu

Cook at 375 for 35 mins. covered. Uncover cook another 15 mins. Top with remaining 1/2 c Mozzarella Cheese cook another 5mins. just till cheese is melted.

Let sit 5 mins before serving.
