Introduction

A chicken dressing made with Patch Johnny Cake. Not low calorie, but good and hearty. Prep time will be much longer if you're not using already prepared cornbread, chicken and stock. Ingredients

    1/2 loaf of Patch Johnny Cake
    1 cooked chicken breast, diced
    8 oz water
    1 tsp Better than Bouillon Chicken Base
    1 cup homemade chicken stock

Directions

Crumble johnny cake into a bread loaf pan.
Mix in the diced chicken.
Mix boiling cup of water with 1 tsp chicken base, then add 1 cup homemade chicken stock.
Pour over chicken/johnny cake mixture and cook at 350 for at least 30 minutes. The longer it cooks the better, provided it doesn't dry out.
