Ingredients

    1 acorn squash
2 apples, cored and cut into 1/2 inch pieces
    1 tablespoon honey
    1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
    1/4 cup raisins

Directions

Cut the squash in half and clean out the seeds. Place squash, cut side down in a baking pan with about 1/2 inch of water. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 350. While they bake, mix the remaining ingredients together for the filling. Turn the squash over and stuff with filling. Return to oven and bake for another 30 minutes.

*Sometimes I add walnuts to the filling as well, for crunch and flavor. Very good.

Next time I will cook the squash a little longer and may sauté the apples a little bit before I put it in the squash. Tasted great. I really liked it - 1/30/18
