Ingredients

Pita Bread, 6 pita, (6-1/2" dia)
    Black Pepper (fresh-ground), 1/2 tsp
    Olive Oil, 1/4 cup

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray (I used an olive oil spray).

Cut pitas in half and then cut each half into 4 triangles (8 triangles per full pita). Lay triangles on prepared cookie sheet in a single layer inside up. Lightly brush top of triangles with olive oil. Sprinkle with fresh ground pepper.

Bake until golden brown, about 8 minutes. Remove from oven to cool. They will become crisp as they cool.

8 triangles = 1 serving

    Incredible!
Great recipe, we use garlic salt, sometimes curry powder mixed in with the oil. - 12/28/10
