Introduction

Wow! I modified this recipe from Hungry Girl Apples & Oatmeal because I had a bunch of peaches going bad in my fridge. Awesome. So good it could be a dessert instead of breakfast! Wow! I modified this recipe from Hungry Girl Apples & Oatmeal because I had a bunch of peaches going bad in my fridge. Awesome. So good it could be a dessert instead of breakfast!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    6 peaches, pitted and diced (large chunks)
    1.5 c old fashioned oats
    1 c Almond Breeze, Unsweetened Vanilla
    1 t cinnamon
    1/2 cup brown sugar (not packed)
    1/2 t salt
    1 T butter

Directions

Add all the ingredients except the butter to the slow cooker and cook on low 5 hours or high 2 hours. When done, stir in the butter (DO NOT SKIP THIS). Makes approx 6- 1 cup servings,if you can restrain yourself.

    Very good. Great recipe to make when there is an abundance of peaches. Late summer is great for peaches in New England! Definitely use this one for a dessert! - 8/18/10
