Introduction

Ingredients

    1 jar Amy's Low Sodium Premium Organic Pasta Sauce (about 3 cups)
    1 lb. ground turkey (this recipe uses Shelton's)
    Red wine--2 oz or to taste
    Fresh basil if desired
    Fresh mushrooms if desired

Directions

Saute ground turkey in a non-stick pan until thoroughly browned. Add wine and other ingredients to taste, and stir over high heat. Add jarred pasta sauce and stir well, bringing all to a boil, then reduce heat. Meanwhile, prepare one package whole wheat thin spaghetti (Barilla used in this recipe) according to package directions. Pasta will make 6 servings of 2.25 ounces. Meat sauce will make 6 servings of about 1 cup each. Sprinkle with Parmesan if desired. Serve with a tossed salad.
