6 slices whole wheat bread, crusts removed
4 Tbsp. Olivio margarine
2 Tbsp. canola oil
1 lb. 93% lean ground turkey
8 oz. Low-fat Colby-Jack cheese, shredded
4 Egg Beaters
2 egg whites, lightly beaten
2 cups skim milk
2 1/2" Vidalia onion, chopped (or green onions)
1 tsp. minced garlic
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
4 shakes hot sauce
1 Tbsp. steak sauce
1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp. fennel seed
1 tsp. dry basil

Directions
Spread bread with margarine. Place in sprayed 13x9x2" casserole pan.
Heat canola oil in skillet. Crumble turkey into skillet. Cook gently, stirring to keep it in small pieces, until no longer pink. Lift out of skillet with slotted spoon. Spread over bread. Discard fat.
Sprinkle cheese over meat.
In bowl, combine eggs, milk, onions, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings. Mix well. Pour over cheese. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover.
Chill overnight.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove casserole from refrigerator and let stand about 30 minutes, to warm to room temperature. Bake strata, uncovered, until set, about 45-50 minutes. Let stand a few minutes before cutting into squares.
