Introduction

An adaptation of a recipe I found on a diabetic recipe website. An adaptation of a recipe I found on a diabetic recipe website.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 lb. lean ground venison
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 can tomato paste
    2 cans diced tomatoes
    1 can chili beans
    2 cups diced onion
    1.5 cups diced green pepper
    3 tbsp liquid smoke
    3 tbsp chili powder
    2 tsp salt
    2 tsp pepper
    2 tbsp ground cumin
    1 tbsp garlic powder
    1 tbsp onion powder
    4 cups water

Directions

Brown meat with onions & green peppers in a 5qt dutch oven or similar size pan. Add liquid smoke, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, & pepper, mix thoroughly. Add the tomato sauce and paste, mix thoroughly. Add diced tomatoes and chili beans and water, mix thoroughly and allow to heat through, about 1/2 hour.
