Introduction

This is a recipe on SP. When I made it, I used Splenda instead of white sugar so I wanted to see the calorie difference (original recipe has about 167 calories per serving). Half the calories! I'm guessing on the serving size since it wasn't listed from the other recipe. This is a recipe on SP. Ingredients

    1 pint blueberries (about 3/4 lb)
    1/2 lb strawberries
    1/4 c Splenda
    1 t lemon juice
    1/4 c water
    Optional: zest of lemon

Directions

Place all ingredients into heavy-bottom saucepan and heat until boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring every few minutes. Sauce will thicken a little more upon cooling.

Makes about 4 1/3c servings (plenty for 2 5-in pancakes)
