Introduction
This is a Dish that I make to put baked pears on top and a very small amount of blue cheese or feta and a drizzle of a balsamic reduction or just plain old balsamic. Ingredients
-
Rosemary, dried, 3 tbsp
Sea Salt, 1 tbsp
Pecans, 2 cup, chopped and smashed
Whole Wheat Flour, 0.25 cup
egg white, fresh, 2 large
This is a trial run recipe and I have not tested this yet. Let me know if you have some nice flavorful lower fat alternatives, thanks!
Directions
makes 12 -- 4-1/4" by 3" pieces
Roast up the pecans until toasty and brown. Cool, then chop and really smash these up. Mix all ingredients together (pecans, eggs, flour, rosemary, and salt).
Take a flat cookie sheet and put parchment paper in the bottom, spread out dough and evenly disperse it 1/4 to 1/8" thinner is better (less caolries) cut with pizza cutter or knife into 12 servings and you can get creative with the shape. Bake at 350 until crispy and done but watch it because it can burn easily, 10 min or so.
