Ingredients

    *quaker old fashion oat meal, 1 C
    Milk, 3.25%, 1 C
    *Whole Wheat Flour, 1 C
    Brown Sugar, .5 C, packed
    Applesauce, unsweetened, .5 C
    Egg, fresh, 2 extra large
    Baking Powder, .5 tsp
    Baking Soda, .5 tsp
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Kirkland ~ Pecans 1 oz = .25 C = 18 halves, 1 oz
    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp ~ for topping
    Granulated Sugar, 1 tsp ~ for topping

Directions

Soak oats in milk for about 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine oats, eggs and applesauce. Mix dry ingredients in separate bowl. Mix all together and add pecans. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top of muffins. Bake 20-25 minutes at 400 degrees.

    Very Good
    I made this last night to have this morning and they are really good. I did change a few things since I do not have Non-fat anything in my house, I use 2% milk and some cinnamon applesauce that I already had open. I also but the cinnamon and sugar in the muffin. - 7/13/16
