Introduction

just a nice way to spice up black beans just a nice way to spice up black beans
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    1 can of black beans,
    1 clove garlic minced
2 tablespoons of onion finely chopped,
    2 tablespoons cilantro finely chopped
    1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

Directions

In a small pot heat oil on medium heat.
when oil is hot add onion, saute until translucent, about 3-4 min. then add garlic, saute for another 2 minutes. then add beans and cilantro. bring to a boil then turn heat down to low, cover and simmer. the longer you can let it go, the more the flavors mix together. about 30 minutes

I did not rinse the beans, i think if you care to do so I would replace with some kind of liquid, stock or water. just enough for the ingredients to simmer in. probably 1/2 cup. Not positive though on this.
