Introduction

Tuna Steaks grilled with sauce

serve with pasta lightly coated with olive oil (suggestion)

Ingredients

    4 tab olive oil
    4 shallots, finely chopped
    1 red pepper
    1 yellow pepper
    1 tab red wine vinegar
    1 lime (grated and juiced)
    2 tsp sugar
    4 tomatoes
    salt and pepper (to taste)
    4 tuna steaks (4 oz)
    14 basil leaves

Directions

heat 1/2 the oil in sauce pan. Saute shallots (5 min), chop and add peppers on low cover (10 min). Add vinegar, lime and sugar cook (5 min). remove lid, let liquid evaporate, add torn basil leaves.

meanwhile cook tuna (brushed with oil, seasoned with salt and pepper) on grill

pour sauce over tuna.
