Introduction

A traditional Korean side dish. A traditional Korean side dish.

Ingredients

    200 grams red potatoes, cut into chunks
    100 grams baby carrots
    1/2 cup sliced potatoes
    1/4 cup soy sauce
    3/4 cup water
    1 tsp sesame oil
    1 tbsp spicy red bean paste

Directions

Spicy red bean paste should be available as an Asian grocery. It can be omitted, if desired.

Add all ingredients to a sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and let simmer until potatoes are fork tender.

Serve as a side dish with stir fry, Korean kalbi, bulgogi, or other asian dishes.
