Introduction

This is a cucumber salad with fat-free dressing. It's my Mom's recipe--she adapted it after the Salat-Krönung seasoning packets came on the market; the packets are time savers and don't contain anything unhealthy. In using the packets, while I usually substitute the oil with water, in the case of cucumbers, I don't, because they contain enough water already. Makes about 8 servings. This salad goes well with salmon, or as a vegetarian meal, with boiled potatoes. This is a cucumber salad with fat-free dressing. Ingredients

    3 large, seedless (hothouse) cucumbers ( you can also use 4 or five regular cucumbers with seeds)
    1 cup Fage 0% Greek yogurt
    7 tsp Dijon mustard
    3 packets Salat Krönung, Dill-Kräuter seasoning
    2 tbsp dried dill weed

Directions

Peel cucumbers and slice very thinly (I use a salad shooter or a mandolin), place into a large bowl.
Add ingredients and stir well. If needed add salt and fresh pepper to taste. Goes well with salmon and other fish.
