Introduction

This is very sweet, but can be made with very few ingredients and kids love to do it. Keep candy in refrigerator as it will get very soft and sticky if left out. You can use less peanut butter than recipe calls for. This is very sweet, but can be made with very few ingredients and kids love to do it. Ingredients

    1 stick margarine
    1 tsp vanilla extract
1 box powdered sugar (add slowly as you may not need entire box.)
1/2 c. peanut butter (again you can use less)

Directions

Slowly melt margarine in a pan, or the microwave; add vanilla or other flavoring extract; (I like mint); Pour in powdered sugar a little at a time until mixture holds together in one large ball. Original recipe said you don't have to sift sugar but I find it mixes better if you do sift.

Place mixture between two sheets of waxed paper and roll into a rectangular shape. Spread with peanut butter and roll up pinwheel style. Cut into 20 slices. Place candy on a waxed paper covered platter and chill for a few minutes before serving.
