Ingredients
-
2 1/4 cups old fashioned oats
1/8 cup honey
1/8 cup maple
(or just a simple 1/4 cup of one or the other, I just split the 1/4 cup measuring cup between the 2)
2 1/2 T safflower oil (any neutral oil will work)
2 oz or 1/4 C honey roasted almonds, smashed
1/4 C honey roasted sunflower seeds
2 T Smuckers Natural Peanut Butter with honey
1/2 t vanilla extract
1/4 t almond extract
a pinch of cinnamon
Directions
Combine all ingrediants in a medium sized bowl.
Mix well (the peanut butter may be stiff so you might want to warm it up a little in the micro)
Spread onto a jelly roll pan (cookie sheet with sides) and bake at 325 for 20 minutes. Mixing every 5 minutes to ensure even browning.
Let cool completely before storing in an air tight container. Refrigerating or freezing with lengthen the shelf life.
Makes roughly 16, 1/4 C servings.
