Ingredients

    1/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup Smart Balance 50/50 stick
    1 cup sugar
    1 large egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 2/3 cups white flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 cup fat free sour cream
    Sugar
(Frosting in NOT included in calculations)

Directions

Heat over to 425 degrees (f). Mix shortening, margarine, 1 cup sugar, the egg and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients except sugar. Divide dough into 3 equal parts. Roll each part 1/4 inch thick on lightly floured surface. Cut with 2-inch cookie cutter; sprinkle with sugar (I skip this if I'm frosting them). Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until no imprint remains when touched lightly, 6 to 8 minutes.

Makes 2 to 4 dozen cookies, depending on size of cookie cutter. (Frosting is NOT included in calculations)
