Introduction
Great for family fun Great for family funNumber of Servings: 100
Ingredients
-
2 Cups Granulated Sugar
2 Cups Crisco
2 Large Eggs
1 Cup Milk (I used 2%)
1 tsp Anise Oil Extract (or 2 small bottles pure anise oil)
1 tsp Baking POwder
1 tsp Salt
8-9 Cups White Flour (judgement call on how sticky batter is)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix all ingrediants except flour in a large bowl. Add flour a little at a time until the dough can be rolled and cut (dough will probably be too thick to use mixer after 5-6 cup of flour, so be prepared to use your hands)
Take some of the dough (about a cup) and roll flat with pin. Be sure not to roll it too thin.
Use your favorite cookie cutters to make holiday shapes
Place raw cookies on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8-10 mins or until edges start to turn golden brown
The amount of cookies per batch depends on the size of the cookie cutters and thickness of the dough when rolled
Also, I will be adding the Buttercream Frosting that can be used to decorate the cookies
Number of Servings: 100
