Introduction

Ingredients

    1/2 cup onion, chopped
    2 Tablespoons butter
    4 cups pealed and chopped tomatoes, or canned
    1 cup milk (I use whole, but more calories can be cut if you use 2% or fat free)
    1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    2 teaspoons powdered chicken bouillon
    1/2 teaspoon thyme
    1/2 teaspoon basil
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper, ground

Directions

Saute onion, put everything in blender, then cook in a medium sauce pan until it thickens to desired consistency.
Makes approx. 5 1-cup servings.
