Number of Servings: 26

Ingredients

    3 egg whites
    2 cups slivered almonds
    1 cup white sugar
    3 tbsp cocoa powder
    1/16 tsp cinnamon
    2 drops of almond extract

    parchment paper

Directions

Coarsely grind slivered almonds, set aside. Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually add sugar, cinnamon and almond flavoring. Sift cocoa powder on top of egg white mixture, gently mix in the almonds (do not stir). Place the dough by the tablespoonful onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 275F for 20-25 minutes. Leave in the oven to cool.
