Ingredients

1/4 cup of chopped sweet purple onion
1/2 cup of chopped sweet yellow onion
4 slices of bacon *can sub. for turkey bacon
1 medium to large cabbage head washed, chopped

Directions

In a large skillet fry the bacon until golden brown. Set aside

Next add your onions and sauteed until tender.

Add your chopped/shredded cabbage. I usually cut around the stem, so that you don't get all the white of the cabbage.

Sauteed until tender. I don't add any seasoning, because the salt from the bacon does it for me. You are more than welcome to add any seasoning you like.

Take the bacon and crumble...top bacon on top of cabbage.
