Yummy Breakfast egg casserole bake. Somewhat like a quiche. Yummy Breakfast egg casserole bake. Somewhat like a quiche.
Number of Servings: 20


    12 eggs
    1 pound bacon (you may use other meat but the dish is calculated by bacon)
    1 cup onion
    2 cups cheese
    1 pkg Crescent Rolls


Unroll the rolls and press into a 9" x 13" pan. In a mixing bowl scramble the eggs together, then add remaining ingredients. Pour the mixture over the crust. We cooked it for 20 min, then checked it every 10 minutes until it was set up and cooked through.

In this size pan I cut it 4 times long ways and 5 times the short way.

*I will say this is the originally recipe from a friend. I am sure it would be healthier if you used fat free cheese and less of it, turkey bacon or ground turkey, and reduced fat crescent rolls. It may also be interesting to think about the use of egg whites only rather than the whole egg, or egg beaters substitute. I am saying this because any time I don't then someone rags on me about that very thing.
