    2 Tablespoons oil
    2 Tablespoons honey
    1 3/4 cups buttermilk
    1 cup bread flour
    1 cup nine-grain
    2 cups whole wheat flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    2 teaspoons yeast

Directions

Place ingredients, in the order listed, into the bread machine pan. Set the machine on the whole wheat setting to mix and bake.

Makes a 2-pound loaf, or about 16, 1/2 inch, 4 oz. slices.
