Ingredients

Chicken Breast, no skin, 2 lbs cut into stips

    Rice flour, white, .5 cup
    Whole Wheat Flour, 0.5 cup
    Garlic powder, 3 tbsp
    Pepper, black, 2 tbsp
    Salt, 1 tbsp

    Tabasco Sauce, 6 tsp
    Egg, fresh, 2 large

Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil, 4 tbsp (Need to cook the chicken in more oil than it absorbs. I have a larger amount here to account for the difference in nutrition and cooking.)

Directions

Pour oil into skillet set to 375 F and heat while preparing the chicken.
Mix dry ingredients together.
Scramble eggs and add Tabasco (more to taste).
Cut chicken into even strips to ensure even cooking.
Dredge chicken in the flower mixture then the egg then flower again. place directly into the hot oil.
Flip chicken after about 5 minutes or when first side is brown.
Chicken should be firm to the touch before pulling from oil.
Place fried chicken on a rack or paper towels to remove excess oil.
