Introduction

Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    4 Tbsp. lite olive oil
    1 tsp. black pepper
    2 cans cannellini, navy or great northern beans
    2 tsp. vinegar, red wine vinegar or red wine
    ½ tsp. dried oregano
    2 cloves crushed garlic
    ¾ tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. red onion, finely chopped
    ¼ c black olives
    1 roasted red pepper, chopped
    1 Tbsp. fresh parsley
    1 pkg. pita bread or bag of pita chips

Directions

Puree all ingredients in blender. Pour into bowl. If using pita bread, quarter then halve. Brush with olive oil. Broil until lightly browned, watching carefully, they cook quickly and get hard as a rock if overcooked! Serve warm with dip.
