Introduction

This dish is usually made with pork but just as good with chicken. This dish is usually made with pork but just as good with chicken.

Ingredients

    1 whole chicken
    4 cups hominy
    3 to 5 cloves of garlic
    2 tsp ground cumin
    2 tsp salt
    6 cups chicken stock

    Garnish with shredded lettuce, cabblage, onion finely chopped, radishes sliced thinly, limes cut into wedges, avacado diced, cilantro chopped oregano dried.

Directions

Boil whole chicken in a large stock pot with onion and garlic. Once the chicken has been cook, de-bone it and put the shredded meat into the pot with the chicken broth. Add in the other ingredients.

Take the pepper (they are usually dried) and boil them 15 min. remove the seeds and tops and puree them in a blender with some of the stock, add to the pot of chicken.

Serve: with cabbage or lettuce and tortila shells with sliced lime as garnish.
