Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1/2 to 1lb of stew beef
    3 stalks celery
    1 large onion, white or yelllow diced
    2tsp beef oxo or beef flavour powder
    4tbl spoons of yellow or orange currie powder
    1/2 cup water
    3 medium potatoes cubed 2 cups brown instant rice

Directions

In large skillet cook beef, celery onions till meat is cooked and celery and onions are nicely browned add beef oxo currie powder and water to pan and continue to cook until simmering. Remove all beef ingredents from skillet into a slow cooker or tall stock pot and add cubed potatoes and around another cup of water or enough to just have the potatoes and meat slightly covred so it can simmer for 1 -2 hrs. In another pot cook rice and eat curried beef on top of that! Very yummy I have these several times during the month!
