Ingredients

Chana Masala -2tsp
Cooking Oil 2-tsp
Cumin Powder (Pisa Zeera) -1tsp
Cumin Seeds (Saabut Sufaid Zeera-1/2 tsp
Ginger (Adrak) (grated) -1/2 peice
Onion (finely chopped)-1number
Chick Peas (Garbanzo Beans) (Kabuli Chana-1cup
Coriander Powder -1tsp
Dry Mango Powder (Aamchoor Powder-2tsp
Garlic (Lehsan) (grated)-2clove
Red Chilli Powder (Pisi Lal Mirch-2tsp
salt-to taste
Tea Bag -1number
Turmeric Powder (Pisi Haldi) -1/4 tsp

Directions
1) Pressure cook the chick peas with the tea bag for 3 whistles until they are soft. Drain and set aside. Discard the tea bag.
2) Heat the oil in a pan, add the cumin seeds. When the seeds crackle, add the onion, ginger and garlic and sauté until the onion is golden brown.
3) Add the chana masala, red chilli powder, mango powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and salt and sauté for another minute.
4) Add the chick peas and 1 cup of water and mix well. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. And set aside
5)boil potatoes in a microwave(or gas) for 10 min. Peel them and cut them into small square pieces.
6)in a pan, add a dash of oil and add the potatoes to slightly glaze them and make them a bit crispy.
7)add these potatoes to the mixture and add cilantro to taste.
